Your Library Card

Who can get a library card, how to apply, and how to use your library card.


  • Anyone living in Correctionville or surrounding area is eligible to get a library card.
  • You may apply for a card by simply coming in and signing up to receive a card. Your responsibilities as a card holder are to return materials in a timely fashion and pay any fees. If you lose your library card a new one may be issued to you. There is no cost at this time for this service. 
  • How to use the library card
    • It is not necessary to carry your card for checking out books and other materials at this time.
    • There is a 10 item loan limit per person in good standing with the library.
    • You may return items in person or through drop box.
    • Items may be renewed in person, by phone, or internet email
    • overdue fines are $.05 a day for books and $.25 a day for DVDs.

          All fines must be paid or being paid before any additional items may be checked out.

    • You may request an item which may be bought or sent for through Interlibrary Loan.
    • You may reserve an item to be put on hold for you to pick up.
